Join us on Wednesday, October 15 at 6PM at the Acorn Club for this exciting program!

This talk focuses on six of Sir Edwin Lutyens' most important early houses in some detail, illustrated largely with Lutyens' own sketches and plans and photos taken by the speaker. The talk looks at the background of the Arts and Crafts movement in the UK, Lutyens involvement in it, his early influences and his long collaboration with landscape designer Gertrude Jeckyll. These houses done at the start of his brilliant and varied career are still revered and remain relevant to this day.
