Join us for a peek inside The Philadelphia Club with a private tour with Curator Kenneth Mitchell followed by dinner in the Club Dining Room. Built in 1838, the Club has an interior decoration that reflects a kind of Philadelphia taste that takes many generations to lay down. The residential ambiance portrays exquisite oriental carpets, portraits, prints and well-polished furniture. Architects Frank Furness, Horace Trumbauer and the firm Mellor, Meigs and Howe have been involved with building additions and alterations over the years.
